My Mat Hoist® Model 1000 Mat Storage System was load-tested in 1986 to 17,500 lbs.  To my knowledge, I am the only manufacturer of Mat Storage Systems that has done this.  I have been manufacturing and installing Mat Hoist® mat storage systems for 31 years and have hundreds of systems installed nationwide.

To date, I have a 100% safety record.  There are other gym equipment manufacturers trying to copy my systems, because I will not private label for them.  But I do allow all gym equipment suppliers to represent the Mat Hoist® storage system products in good faith and name.

Because of testing, engineering, and manufacturing the Mat Hoist® mat storage systems DO NOT need a safety strap gadget. I do believe that inferior copy cats might.  I do not manufacture safety straps.  I do manufacture the best Mat Hoist® system.  My concern is what if a strap locks up or malfunctions in the down cycle...?

We are the oldest company manufacturing wrestling mat storage and transportation systems. Many wrestling coaches, athletic directors and school administrators are calling us with problems concerning their mat storage system. They think their system is our Mat Hoist® mat storage system, because our registered trade name has been “bootlegged”. We will certainly appreciate it if you guard against this practice by others.

Our Mat Hoist® mat storage system name has been advertised nationwide for thirty plus years now, and is registered in the United States patent office. I do not private label nor manufacture the Mat Hoist® mat storage system products for anyone or any gym equipment manufacturer, including but not limited to Porter®, Jay Pro®, Aalco®, Draper®, ADP Lemco®, or Performance Sports®! NGE does not manufacturer the Mat Lifter®, the Mat Mover®, the Mat Rack®, or the SecureLift®.  I do allow all gym equipment dealers to market, sell and install our equipment after contracting to do so.
